A meticulously arranged archival table in a small-town municipal archive, covered with a cream-coloured linen cloth. On it lie neatly stacked sepia-toned photographs of Dundee’s early streets, a leather-bound township registry, and a detailed hand-drawn map with the word “Dundee” elegantly scripted. A brass magnifying glass and cotton handling gloves rest nearby. Diffused daylight from a tall, frosted window illuminates the scene, creating soft, even light with delicate shadows under each object. Captured from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, with sharp focus on the map and gentle blur towards the edges. The mood is calm, scholarly, and professional, inviting careful exploration of the township’s history.
